Did you know: Coloration is remarkably varied in lizards. Many species display perfect cryptic coloration that makes them invisible in their natural habitat; others are vividly colored in shades of emerald and turquoise blues, reds and yellows. Many lizards, such as iguanas, can see in color. Their colorful body parts allow them to communicate with each other and help them tell which are male and which are female.
